As the new Official Representative (OR) or Designated Representative (DR) for your institution, you are taking on some new responsibilities. Those include promoting ICPSR resources on your campus, insuring that ICPSR Direct is functional, and assisting data users in locating, downloading, and working with ICPSR data. If your familiarity with statistical software and data analysis is limited, fear not. You can focus on promoting ICPSR resources and helping users search for data of interest, and then refer users to individuals and resources on your campus that specialize in statistical software packages and data analysis.
