ICPSR Council Members Begin New Terms
ANN ARBOR–Each fall after the ICPSR Biennial Meeting, new ICPSR Council members are approved by the ICPSR membership to serve four-year terms on the ICPSR Council, joining current members. A Council Chair is also approved at this time.
Council members typically serve four-year terms, and new Council members are elected every two years. The Council acts on administrative, budgetary, and organizational issues on behalf of all the members of the Consortium.
A heartfelt thanks to the Council members whose terms are ending, and a warm welcome to the incoming Council members approved at the 2023 ICPSR Biennial Meeting. The following Council members are starting their terms in 2024:

- Claire Bowen, Urban Institute
- Sandra Marquart-Pyatt, MSU
- Jeffrey Morenoff, Univerity of Michigan
- Janet Stamatel, University of Kentucky
- Michael Steelworthy, Wilfrid Laurier University
- Gisela Sin, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
The outgoing Council members include:
- Bobray Bordelon (Past Vice Chair), Princeton University
- James Doiron, University of Alberta
- Kristin R. Eschenfelder, University of Wisconsin-Madison
- Mark Hansen, Columbia University
- Trevon Logan, Ohio State University
- Ken Smith, University of Utah
The following Council members have two years left in their terms:
