Are there any restrictions on what people can do with the data?

Users should respect the terms of any license(s) applied to a data collection or restrictions set by an archive. Additionally, users downloading ICPSR data agree to the Terms of Use. Users are not to exploit the data to investigate individual respondents or research subjects. In the event the identity of a research subject is discovered inadvertently, the user is required to notify ICPSR of such discovery, as outlined in the Terms of Use.
