How do I receive credit for sharing my data?

When ICPSR releases the data from your deposit, we provide users with a recommended data citation, which allows us to track the use of the data in publications and other outputs. This citation includes a persistent digital object identifier (DOI). The study home page for your data records the volume of users downloading data and or documentation.
